Navigating to the Belmont Sportsgrounds

Situated on the north side of Belmont, the campground offers 8 serviced sites with water and 15 Amp electricity, plus shower access. Beyond camping, the sportsgrounds house a playground, picnic shelter, and various sports fields for all to enjoy.

Playground: There’s a playground and plenty of green space to relax.

What to bring

We recommend a picnic blanket or lawn chair, an umbrella, sunscreen, and a water bottle to stay comfortable during the sets.

Cash on Hand

Cash is handy for optional items: Firemen BBQ, 50/50, entertainer tips, and donations. All festival activities are free.

Camping

Belmont & District Museum

A short stroll from the festival, discover the rich heritage of Manitoba at this cherished local landmark.

Operated by the Belmont and District Historical Society, this historic museum in the Rural Municipality of Prairie Lakes showcases a diverse collection of local heritage.

 

Visitors can explore the collection's centerpiece caboose, printing equipment from the former Belmont News, and the late Dr. Stevenson's medical tools.

 

The museum also preserves military uniforms, unique artifacts, and oversees the nearby historic Christ Church Anglican building, offering a profound glimpse into Manitoba's storied past.

Cherish The Church

On Sunday of the festival weekend, join Belmont's churches to celebrate 125 years of the Anglican Church with a special community service and picnic.

Sunday Highlight

Date & Time: Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM

Location: Anglican Church, Belmont, Manitoba. Service: Non-denominational with representation from Belmont's churches.

Family Picnic at the Park: Following the service enjoy lunch with complimentary hotdogs.

 

Bring blankets and chairs.

A silver collection will support upkeep and maintenance of the Belmont & District Museum and the Anglican Church.

Hunt for treasures across Belmont during our community yard sale event, happening alongside Music in the Park!

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Start your Saturday with a treasure hunt through town! Catch the best deals in the morning, then head over to the Sportsgrounds for a Firemen BBQ lunch and live music at noon. It's the perfect way to enjoy a full day of community spirit in Belmont.

Belmont Music in the Park is scheduled for August 1 2026. Performances and activities begin at 12 PM each day, ensuring a full schedule of live entertainment and fun for the whole family.

Where is the festival physically located?

The event is hosted at the sportsgrounds in Belmont, Manitoba. The park offers natural acoustics and a spacious layout that easily accommodates our main stage, vendor booths, and family activity zones.

How can I participate as a local vendor?

We are always looking for local artisans and food vendors. Our mission is to support the hands that craft in our community, so we prioritize Manitoba based vendors and non-profit partners.

Is the festival safe for children and families?

Absolutely. We feature many games, crafts and activities for the kids. The entire festival grounds are designed for maximum safety and inclusive play.

What should visitors bring for their comfort?

We encourage guests to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sunscreen. While our local firefighter BBQ is legendary, you are also welcome to bring personal coolers with snacks and water.
